Mammals are a class of animals that have hair, nurse their young with milk, and typically have four limbs. Some of the most well-known mammals include lions, tigers, elephants, whales, and dolphins.

Birds are a class of animals that have feathers, wings, and beaks. They can typically fly and range in size from the tiny hummingbird to the massive ostrich. They are often hunted for their eggs and flesh, as well as for sport.

Fish are a class of vertebrates that live primarily in water but can survive on land because they have gills that enable them to breathe underwater. Fish range in size from tiny sardines to enormous whales. They are extremely important to the food chain, as they are an integral part of oceanic food chains.

Reptiles are a class of animals that have scales, lay eggs on land, and typically have four limbs. Notable examples include snakes, alligators, crocodiles, lizards, turtles, and iguanas.

Amphibians are a class of animals that have moist skin, lay eggs in water, and can live on both lands and in water. Frogs, toads, newts, and salamanders are all examples of amphibians.
